Just to remind the fans, there’s no official update from Rockstar Games on this situation. With that being said, one can have a look at what the speculated details are trying to inform. Especially, when it comes to making necessary upgrades to one’s existing PC hardware to prepare for GTA 6 release (whenever it happens).

On a side note, some experts who have analyzed the trailer in the last few days believe that having RTX 3080 GPUs can be beneficial for PC players. They are amazing graphic cards and can give a great performance in the long run. In the aforementioned list of system requirements, this specific card is also listed.

Will it definitely be released on PC?

Going by Rockstar’s track record with its games in the last 10 years, it seems like PC players will have to wait for a long time. If one has to take examples, GTA V was initially released in September 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. It was only after nearly two years that it was launched for PC, in April 2015.

Another highly popular game from Rockstar, Red Dead Redemption 2, was originally released in October 2018. It was made available on PS4 and Xbox One models. However, its PC port was eventually launched in November 2019 – after more than a year.

In short, one can assume that it will take at least one year for GTA 6 to come out on PC following its debut in 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series X\S. Well, that’s the sad reality, and PC users will have to face it.
