GTA games are always the center of attention for many people. Sometimes by choice, and sometimes by just a little coincidence. This has happened time and time again. The latest was when Lindsay Lohan chose to sue Rockstar Games over GTA 5 artwork. And now, it appears a similar thing might happen to GTA 6, but this time by a very different kind of celebrity!
Every piece of entertainment has certain references, the GTA series the most, given the fact that they have a satirical tone. They always parody things happening in the real world, and sometimes people they parody come back and sue. Seems like a similar thing is going to happen to GTA 6!
It looks like the Florida Joker is thinking about suing Rockstar Games over his parody in GTA 6.

As a game developer, most gamers are aware of the kind of prowess Rockstar Games shows. But they are even better at holding a huge mirror for people who play their games. They have created their own fictional America in the GTA universe. And they parody pretty much everything that’s weird. From viral videos of the Scooter Brothers to ghosts on secluded beaches. GTA 6 is no different; its trailer shows how much they have taken from the world around them.
The most prominent thing that fans noticed in that trailer was a very accurate parody of “Florida Joker.” He was arrested a while ago, and his image and even video had gone viral. He was called the Florida Joker because he had green hair and tattoos on his face. And his tattoos were designed as scars on his cheeks. Rockstar Games created a similar character for GTA 6. He seems like a gang member who is now in jail for some reason. And after watching this video, the real Florida Joker seems to have probably found a reason to sue Rockstar Games.

He was seen on Twitter saying, “You know they got that character with the face tattoos; you know who they got that inspired by? By me,” he said. “Just look me up, Florida Joker. You know what I’m talking about.”

The message seems pretty clear. But there are chances that Rockstar Games might be in on this thing, and it might be a viral campaign of sorts. Anything can happen; fans just have to wait to find out what transpires.
He does not have a chance of winning, though
One thing is for sure: if he sues, he will lose. Parodies cannot be the subject of lawsuits. Rockstar Games has changed the tattoos on the character’s face completely and changed his hair color from green to purple. Still, only lawyers know these things better, and fans would have to see how it plays out.

One thing is for sure, though: previously, Lindsay Lohan sued Rockstar Games for her likeness being in GTA 5, but she lost. Rockstar Games denied that they even considered her when designing that character. She sued them multiple times and lost multiple times. How it plays out with the Florida Joker, this question would be answered in the coming months or maybe after the game’s launch.
