The middleweight boxing world champion is coming back in Tekken 8 and the first sneak peek of his arrival in the forthcoming installment looks as promising as ever. Earlier there were speculations about his role in the upcoming addition to the Tekken franchise, an official trailer drop has confirmed the hero’s significance in the action-packed adventure.
“Time to knock out the competition. Steve will beat everyone to the punch in Tekken 8”, the description of the trailer read. While the gameplay explored some skills and attributes of the boxer in detail, a call back to an iconic Tekken rivalry came under the spotlight. Remember Hwoarang and Steve Fox’s banger in Tekken 5? Hwoarang, the Taekwondo champion had a heated interaction with the boxer in Tekken 5 introduction, and it had been a long while since fans were given the taste of the rivalry. Fortunately, the trailer promises to bring back a full-force level interaction of the iconic fighter duo.
