Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will finally get its Season 1 Reloaded update in the next few hours. Apart from new maps, modes, weapons, and other exciting elements, it will also finally introduce Ranked Play mode for players who love a competitive gameplay experience.

Just hours before the arrival of Ranked Play, however, devs have clarified that the mode will get slightly delayed. Although it will be available soon, players won’t get it immediately after updating Modern Warfare 3 to Season 1 Reloaded. But they can still do one thing before jumping into the new format. Players should know about every lucrative reward attached to the competitive mode. This article will try to explain how to unlock them all.

Complete challenges and win Ranked Play Rewards

Players have always enjoyed Ranked Play. It’s been the norm seen in every COD installment in recent years. After returning with 2022’s Modern Warfare II, the mode will now make its way to its successor. To begin with, players can unlock it upon reaching Level 55 (Prestige 1). Then, they can access the Ranked Play menu in MW3.

Now, speaking of Ranked Play rewards in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, players need to finish certain challenges in order to unlock them. Below is the complete reward list with challenges to be completed in Season 1 Reloaded:

• “MWIII Season 1 Competitor” Weapon Sticker – Unlocked after winning 5 Ranked Play matches
• “Pro Issue Gutter Knife” Weapon Blueprint – Unlocked after winning 10 Ranked Play matches
• “Script Writer” Weapon Charm – Earned after winning 20 Ranked Play matches
• “Built Different” Large Decal – Unlocked after winning 30 Ranked Play matches
• “MWIII Ranked Play Season 1” Loading Screen – Earned after winning 40 Ranked Play matches
• “MWIII Season 1 Ranked Veteran” Weapon Camo – Earned after winning 50 Ranked Play matches

Players can choose to complete the aforementioned challenges in any way they prefer. Ranked Play in Modern Warfare 3 will feature different maps and modes for online competitive matches. All of them will follow the rules of the Call of Duty League. Below are the modes users can jump into:

• CDL Search & Destroy: The mode will take place on maps like Highrise, Invasion, Karachi, Skidrow, and Terminal. Also, Friendly Fire will be enabled.
• CDL Hardpoint: Maps supported in this mode include Invasion, Karachi, Skidrow, Sub Base, and Terminal. Players will get a 5-minute time limit and the maximum score limit will be 250.
• CDL Control: Maps included in this mode are Highrise, Invasion, and Karachi. A total of 30 player lives will be available for each team with a 1.5-minute time limit. The maximum win limit will be up to 3 rounds.

COD players can select any of the modes, from the list above, to start their reward hunt under Season 1 Reloaded. The update is releasing on January 17, 2024.
