A Leak Suggests Call of Duty X Mortal Kombat Crossover Event in Modern Warfare 3 Is Happening Soon

If a recent leak is to be believed, two action-packed franchises could come together, resulting in a blockbuster crossover. Gamers could soon witness the best event in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 yet. A leaked intel has revealed that the FPS game will have a major crossover with NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat fighting game series.

Modern Warfare 3 has received numerous events featuring third-party media franchises. For example, there was a Dune crossover that included lucrative rewards for players alongside an exclusive Paul Atreides Operator bundle. The Boys event is on its way to Season 1 Reloaded. However, with a Mortal Kombat crossover, 2024 can’t get any better for Call of Duty players. Which MK characters could CoD players get?

COD insider and renowned scooper Detonated recently shared a post on X. The account revealed in the post that “A Potential ‘Mortal Kombat’ Crossover has been revealed!” “Fist o’ Fire’ Emblem” was discovered by insiders that looks very similar to Scorpion’s character in Mortal Kombat series.

If the leak checks out, it will be huge! One simple reason is that both Call of Duty and Mortal Kombat feature extremely violent elements in their games that suit their respective genres. Hence, players can’t even imagine what could happen when these two will collide through a massive collaboration.

Further, curious fans will now begin to speculate who they would like to see as Operators from NetherRealm’s iconic series. If one has to assume, the crossover event will probably bring characters from the latest installment, Mortal Kombat 1.
