Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 features a captivating zombie experience. It’s been performing well so far with most of the players being happy the way it has turned out since release. However, MWZ has somehow disappointed the fans recently due to a major concern. Surprisingly, it’s got nothing to do with the gameplay, but in-game store bundles.

There’s no denying the fact that many players tend to spend money on attractive COD bundles each year using COD Points. Modern Warfare 3 is no exception to this tradition with the devs rolling out fresh cosmetics nearly every week. But some of them are just way too expensive for what they offer. Especially, when it comes to getting additional benefits inside modes like Zombies.

For the uninitiated, there’s been a special bundle released for Modern Warfare Zombies and it’s called the Aetherium Ultra Skin. Compared to other costly bundles, that are usually available for 2,400 COD Points, this one is charging a whopping 2,800 COD Points. This means players who are interested in acquiring it will have to spend nearly $30. Which is equivalent to the price of the entire Black Cell Battle Pass itself!

Moreover, the price point could have been justified had there been some relevance to its content. Sadly, that’s not the case according to players who seem to have purchased it for real. Recently, a furious Reddit user took to the social platform while slamming devs for introducing Aetherium Ultra Skin bundle for no reason.

According to the player, the bundle offers literally nothing for a price of 2,800 COD Points (or $30). There’s no pay to win element attached to it either. Instead, it mostly appears to be a ‘pay to lose’ bundle, going by the reaction of the Redditor.

Talking about the contents of this controversial bundle, here’s a list of all items players can get for spending 2,800 COD Points:

At the moment, it’s highly unlikely that more users will buy it going forward. Since 2019’s Modern Warfare, there have been many fancy bundles with attractive Operator and weapon skins. But these additions have begun to annoy the players in the last two years. Simply because a lot of them have been expensive while containing non-COD characters or elements hardcore fans can’t relate to.

It seems like the devs will have to think about keeping the price of new bundles under control or at least reasonable. Hopefully, they will remove the aforementioned bundle soon in case it fails to woo more players.
