The Elevator glitch has been present in past installments that have come out, alongside recent entries too. For example, some players could recreate it in 2022’s Modern Warfare II on certain maps. The main purpose of exploiting this glitch is that it enables the user to go out of the map inside an going match. Players can jump too high up in the air, above the ground.

Usually players try to replicate the glitch by having Loadout drops on the map. After it hits the ground, they try to spam the key to jump in order to elevate up in the sky. On Scrapyard map, there had been no instance of someone using the glitch so far, let alone getting a kill, until recently.

A COD player on X, shared a video of his gameplay session from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the map of Scrapyard. The clip from Final Killcam showed him spamming the keys to go high up above the map. But what he did next stunned all the other players who were spectating.

Obviously, the rest of the players were mesmerized by looking at this rare phenomenon. It becomes even more special given the fact how difficult it is to aim and kill an enemy with a sniper rifle in regular matches. Accomplishing this task using a glitch, while being mid-air, is definitely praiseworthy. According to the player, he’s the first one to do this on Scrapyard. Although that’s something not officially confirmed, one cannot deny his sharp sniping skills.
