Camping Snipers are one of the most annoying things about playing FPS games. Many campers just stick to one position and look for unexpecting targets to kill. And while there are many strategies to counter such gameplay, some might not be as effective as others. However, in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, some players have found some “modern” solutions to take out campers on old maps.

One player has recently showcased an interesting technique to get rid of Snipers on older maps of Call of Duty. Playing on the map, Invasion, this player showcased an explosive performance when it came to clearing out a camping sniper.

Recently, a player took to Reddit to share a clip of them getting jump-scared by a grenade. In the clip, the player is seen camping near a window, looking for their next victim. Suddenly, a grenade comes flying at them and explodes in their face.

The clip titled “To the Window!” shows how an explosive can ruin a camper’s position. The post was captioned, “I’m happy that a lot of the cross-map kills are still available in these old maps. This is a great way to get rid of a sniper or even just move them away from the window.”

The clip was unloaded to show the utility of the grenade launcher in the game. In older maps, players could easily take out their enemies from across the map. The Redditor shared this clip to show how it is possible to do the same in Modern Warfare 3.

This mechanic could lead to many players trying out older tactics in the latest game. Players can try to replicate strategies that they have used on the same map in a different game. Since the game’s launch, players have found nostalgic maps, weapons and more. But that will be changing really soon with the release of Modern Warfare 3 Season 1.
