Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., and Rockstar Games finally released the highly anticipated trailer 1 for GTA 6. Early this morning, the makers decided to let the cat out of the bag due to a major leak (once again). While the first look is already winning the hearts of millions of fans online, it may have possibly teased the release date for the open-world video game.

GTA 6 has been in the making for over a decade now. Thanks to an unending hype, it’s been trending for over a year, especially after the biggest leak in gaming history. Recently, it had a similar situation followed by the official trailer leaking hours before its scheduled timing. As a result, the devs had to share it more than 10 hours before! Now that it’s out, a lot of players are speculating its release date. And apparently, the developers have already shared it.

The trailer was so detailed, and had so much information, nobody would blame you for missing stuff. The video features a popular song “Love Is A Long Road” by Tom Petty, and quickly begins showing the iconic Vice City in a classic ‘Rockstar style’. Just when things are about to go crazy in the trailer, one specific frame appears while showing a particular banner being carried in the air through the clouds.

At first, it seems like a way of Rockstar poking fun at things in real life. However, it appears to be more than that. If you look closely, there’s a message that pops up on the screen. It reads: “Why Sixty Nine When You Can Nine 1 Nine?”

If one has to dive deeper into the meaning of this message, it can be said that it’s possibly the actual release date of GTA 6. Maybe, the makers are planning to launch it on September 19. The year of its debut has been confirmed already which is 2025, according to the trailer itself.

GTA 6 Trailer 1 is breaking records

Despite getting released way before an official premiere schedule, the first-ever footage from GTA 6 is creating history on YouTube. For the uninitiated, it has already amassed 66,630,755 views as of this writing.

With that being said, it has also broken the record for most views on YouTube of a non-music video. Previously, the record belonged to MrBeast, with 46 million views in 24 hours. Well, Rockstar’s latest teaser trailer has crushed that figure already, even before completing 24 hours!

Now, it seems likely that the video will also break the record of most views for a non-trailer video in 24 hours. Currently, it’s held by K-Pop band BTS’ song, Butter. The latter had received 108 million views on the first day of release on YouTube.
