Geoff Keighley, the host of the Game Awards, has exciting news for Spider-Man fans around the world. Interestingly, Tom Holland will host the video games ceremony in the coming week. He is playing the role of young Nathan Drake in the upcoming Uncharted movie as well.

Keighley announced the news via a twitter post.

Is it possible to get a glimpse of the uncharted movie?

Tom Holland, fondly looked upon as Spider-Man by Marvel fans, will be a presenter at the Game Awards 2020. Indeed, many fans are speculating to get a first glimpse of the Uncharted movie at the event too. Fans will also hope to see Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake’s mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan in the teaser during the event.

Naughty Dog at the Game Awards 2020

Naughty Dog, the developer of widely known titles like Last of Us and Uncharted, can continue its success at the awards having been nominated for nine categories, including Best Performance for both Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey.

Apart from that, other PlayStation 4 games nominated at the awards are far from surprising. The Last Of Us Part 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Final Fantasy VII Remake were excellent titles to mark the end of the PlayStation 4 era and deservedly have gotten nominations.

Furthermore, players are also expecting an update on The Last of Us part II multiplayer mode, which is expected to be named ‘Factions’.

HBO makes “The Last Of Us” TV show a reality

The Last Of Us TV show got a full series confirmation by HBO. The show is currently in production under Sony Pictures TV and HBO, also in association with PlayStation Productions, Word Games, and Naughty Dog.

Neil Druckmann, the series creator, will work both as a writer and executive producer alongside Craig Mazin (Chernobyl). The executive producer of both Game of Thrones and Chernobyl, Carolyn Strauss, will also work as executive producer for The Last Of Us TV Show.
