The organization announced a measure showing its sensitivity towards the players and the coaches involved.
Many stakeholders associated with tennis are suffering greatly with the cancellation because of the crisis. Even as the big players manage, those at the lower level struggle to make ends meet. Those looking after the organizational aspect are also suffering greatly.

This is how the FFT will be dealing with the crisis –
The Executive Committee of the French Tennis Federation, meeting this Friday, April 10, approved the principle of a support and recovery plan for the entire ecosystem of French tennis and associated disciplines.

This plan will mobilize a total amount of 35 million euros.
It will be aimed at players facing serious economic difficulties following the health crisis, namely affiliated clubs, independent professional teachers, French players on the professional circuit, international officials and organizers of French international tournaments.
The practical arrangements for allocating aid will be discussed, in particular at the next League Presidents’ Council. The detailed arrangements will be communicated at the end of the executive committee on May 15, 2020.

In solidarity and attentive to all the players concerned, the French Tennis Federation will provide support adapted to the current situation and will be by their side for the resumption of sporting activity when the time comes.
