Rafa Nadal played so much better today, rather than yesterday, vs Diego Schwartzman. RN was mediocre in the 1st set, but DS played fantastic. The rain came, & that really helped 4 the Spaniard. Nadal wins 46 63 62 62, his FH was incredible – again. pic.twitter.com/LwIvdzUtR4

The 1st set being an exception, Rafa Nadal white washed Schwartzman. Looking forward to semi finals. Needless to mention RG is indeed a great tournament.

Powerful God this Nadal. He will make it rain to get out of trouble.
— Lady A (@Mmaagwe_Ab) June 7, 2018
The thing is, he is the god of clay. Yesterday he was in trouble, so, his other God friends sent rain. And today, he played like a beast, and won. Well done Nadal <3

Good win , momentum was definitely with Schwartzman at the beginning of the match but Nadal is the king for a reason .

Don't be mistaken – rain – but not suspension – is counterintuitive for Nadal's gameplay (massive topspin is far less effective) – so that might have been a reason (although – of course – Schwartzman's merit is massive) for the results up to the suspension.

Nadal doesn't mind faster conditions. What he hates is low bounce. Clay doesn't quite take the same spin and bounce on a cold, damp day. On dry clay, Nadal in half decent form is unbeatable. This is universally acknowledged. Surprised you'd think otherwise.

Nice to see Nadal's level today was much closer to his standard after playing about as poorly as we've ever seen him on clay for a set and a half yesterday.

Schwartzman was really dominating and on set lead yesterday but couldn't able to maintain his momentum today.
Nadal came like a storm and totally engulfed Schwartzman with his strategy which led him to the semis. #VamosRafa #RolandGarros— Sristi (@sriso_o) June 7, 2018
