Forza Horizon 5 has received rave reviews ever since it dropped last month. The latest title of the popular racing franchise takes players to the serene North American country of Mexico, which has some amazing environments. Other than a lot of scenic locations, players can enjoy the free roam online experience with hundreds of cars available in the game.

However, it takes a lot of grinding out races and skill challenges for them to earn enough credits to buy their favorite cars. With many of them costing millions of credits, it might take a long time before players finally purchase the one they want. Hence why, many fans have used bugs and glitches present in the game to earn money easily. However, one YouTuber recently explained the possible consequences of exploiting these mistakes in coding from the developers.

Forza Horizon 5 bans YouTuber for exploiting money glitches

Popular YouTuber Grae recently uploaded a pretty saddening video for his legions of Forza Horizon fans. Ever since the game’s release, he has posted countless videos detailing tricks to earn credits easily in the game. While some involved using certain methods, cars and races in the game, other methods involved using glitches present in the title. This allowed him to showcase how he earned millions and purchased many cars to his fans.

However, it seems like exploiting glitches and bugs caught the attention of developers Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games. In his latest video, he explained he received a ban from Forza Horizon 5. The ban doesn’t include any details about the reasoning. However, it’s fair to say that Grae’s trouble might have been caused by him using many glitches in Forza Horizon 5.

Is it fair to ban players for exploiting glitches?

Grae’s ban on Forza Horizon 5 has sparked a dialogue in the game’s community about this issue. While the YouTuber exploited methods not intended by the developers, he did it without modifying the game at all. Most developers take issue with players using mods, hacks or tweaked game files. However, Grae has found himself in trouble after using the mistakes made by the developers while creating the game.

Moreover, Grae has mentioned that rather than him receiving a ban for exploiting the developers’ mistakes, he would have loved to fix them if they opened a dialogue with the community’s important players. Other than that, it also puts many other unsuspecting players who used his methods at harm as well. It remains to be seen if the developers will rescind the ban. However, it sure seems like they aren’t happy with players trying out glitches to earn credits and purchase expensive cars easily.
