Jim Harbaugh’s journey from the Michigan Wolverines to the LA Chargers has been quite an adventure and with the former NFL player supporting the veteran coach, it looks like he’s on the right path to the ultimate glory of a Super Bowl.
Jim Harbaugh, the coach for the Los Angeles Chargers, changed the entire narrative of college football with his departure. He brought along several coaches from Michigan while making the move to the Chargers, in hopes of continuing the magic he brewed back in Ann Arbour. Only this time, the stakes have never been higher, and the trophy cabinet of Harbaugh still awaits a Super Bowl trophy. And if Donte Whitner’s words are to be believed, that day isn’t far off.

Though the fans have expressed their enthusiasm about Harbaugh’s future with the LA Chargers in the past, there certainly hasn’t been someone to talk about him winning the AFC championship in his debut season. That is until the newest episode of the ‘Up and Adams’ show came out which saw Donte Whitner, sharing his opinion on Harbaugh’s talent that could be mixed well with the Chargers.
"Jim Harbaugh is going to have the Chargers in the AFC Championship… in his FIRST year." 😮

Whitner said, “Jim Harbaugh is a winner. Jim Harbaugh is going to have that team in the AFC Championship. You can rewind this on championship weekend. Jim Harbaugh is going to have the Chargers in the AFC Championship. First of all, because he has his quarterback. And when you put Jim Harbaugh with a quarterback, he is the quarterback whisperer like he was with J.J. McCarthy, like he was with Colin Kaepernick. Any quarterback that was under a two-ledge of Jim Harbaugh, he figures out what your strengths are and he tailors his offense around that in the running game.” Thus, it is evident that the former safety for the 49ers has a lot of confidence in Harbaugh’s capabilities and it will be interesting to see whether he can stand on them or not. With all that said, here’s a look at Harbaugh talking about his goals during his time with the Chargers.

“I want another shot”: Harbaugh explains his true intentions
While the majority of the fans would disagree with what Whitner said about Harbaugh winning it in his debut year, an argument can definitely be made for the fact that he might be able to achieve that goal in one or two years. Even Colin Kaepernick believes in Harbaugh’s saying, “Harbaugh is the one coach you call when you want to compete for a championship. Period.”
During his time with the San Francisco 49ers, he came close to winning the ring but wasn’t able to obtain it. Now that he’s back to redeem himself, this is what Harbaugh had to say about his one true purpose. “It’s got to be multiple championships,” he told reporters. “We’re going to be humble and hungry, but that’s our goal.” Thus, the sport of the NFL has never been more exciting as Harbaugh will be knocking on the doors of fate yet again and maybe this time, they’ll finally open up.
