Within a few months, the spooky season of Halloween for people to enjoy around the world. During this time, different games will offer seasonal items for fans to experience. This also includes the popular Battle Royale title of Fortnite, which will add cool new scary skins, items, cosmetics and modes for fans to have fun with.
Halloween is still a few months away, but that won’t stop players from knowing about the developer’s plans for the holiday. Recently, a popular dataminer revealed some of the fresh additions to the game during the All Hallows’ Eve. Here are some of the coolest changes to the game that fans should be excited about.

HYPEX reveals developer’s plans for Fortnite during Halloween
Celebrated dataminer HYPEX recently disclosed some of the plans for the upcoming scary festival. The scalper revealed that the game will bring back the Horde Rush LTM for Halloween, much to the delight of fans. The four player co-op mode brings the flair of Call of Duty Zombies with the added touch of Fortnite elements. In this LTM, players will fight hordes of zombies until they beat the mode’s ultimate boss.
Other than that, HYPEX also mentioned that the mode will return with items like Obelisks Chests, which will have powerful weapons. Additionally, it will also have score multipliers and items that will turn a player invisible as well. So it seems like fans can turn on the spookiness as well while killing hordes of zombies in The Horde Rush.

Zombies to have abilities as well
Other than that, HYPEX also disclosed some of the changes to the zombies in Fortnite as well. The post mentioned that zombies of different colors will have unique abilities. While the white one freezes enemies, the red variants will explode near players. Along with that, the Green zombies leave poison clouds with the gold version being very strong while hitting. This should create a lot of variety in gameplay for players, which will cause them to strategize their plans for the hordes.

It seems like Epic Games have planned for something epic for Halloween this year. It remains to be seen if these changes will come in effect when The Horde Rush arrives in October. But, if it does, then players will have a hell of a time playing this LTM.
