After a lot of waiting, the developers at Fortnite have released another update to the game. Update 17.30 includes the addition of a lot of new features for the game in new weapons. Along with that, there will also be stuff about the upcoming Rift Tour event featuring Ariana Grande which starts on August 6. Other than that, fans might also see the abduction of some of the most popular POIs in the game soon as well.

The update also has a lot off cosmetic additions to the Fortnite item shop as well. For the past few weeks, the developers have released a lot of teasers about some of the characters arriving in this game. With this update, players will see some of them, and a load of other character skins and variants as well.

Fortnite finally adds Bloodsport skin and teasing other Suicide Squad characters as well

After releasing a teaser trailer about his arrival, Fortnite has finally added the skin of DC villain in Bloodsport. The addition of this character is part of a crossover with the upcoming DC movie in The Suicide Squad. The movie releases on August 6, and popular British actor Idris Elba will play the moniker of Bloodsport in it.

Along with that, the game has also added a new variant of the Harley Quinn skin with a Rebirth version. They have also teased the arrival of other characters from The Suicide Squad movie with the sprays of members like Peacemaker, King Shark and Polka-Dot man. As the Bloodsport skin is part of the Taskforce X set, it’s very likely that fans will see King Shark or Peacemaker join Fortnite soon.

New reactive skins that light up with music

In a previous update, the developers added new reactive skins to the game with four character models that players can customize with wraps. With this update, it seems like Epic Games want to give more customization options with 10 new character models which have unique accent colors. This includes Hi-Hat, Syncopator, Reverb, Attenuator, Synth Striker, Melody Maverick, Band Pass, Amplitude, Harmonizer, and Pop Parody. They will light up when music is played with a custom color that players can select. Along with that, they also might join the Rift Tour Ariana Grande concert as backup dancers as well.

Additionally, the game also has a Human Bill skin which has a ton of customization options as well. This includes clothing, head pieces, skin color, and many more. The developers have also added a camo variant for the Doublecross and a Neon version for the the Party Trooper skin, respectively.

With this update, it seems like the developers have given a lot of options for fans. Along with more collaborative skins, the game also has custom options with new character models as well. The developers at Epic Games have struck a great balance with the cosmetics, and fans will surely appreciate this update a lot.
