Despite the contrasting demands of the community, Epic Games hasn’t delayed any updates for Chapter 2 Season 6 of Fortnite. With every new patch, we are witnessing new weapons, changes in the map, and hints towards the upcoming events in the storyline.

The latest 16.20 update was no exception, as it brought a ton of new content with it. These include a mythic weapon, a POI, vehicle modifications, and much more.

The rumors of vehicle modifications had been floating around for a long time, and Epic Games has finally released them. Considering the primal terrain on the map, these customizations options had become more important than ever.

Players can now add off-road tires on their vehicles and can drive in the forest area comfortably. They can add these mods from the newly introduced POI named Chonker’s Customs. The area comprises a small garage with a noticeable extension on the side that expands as an alternative exit.

While these mini-garages are spread across the map, it is recommended to visit the Chonker’s Customs in Catty Corner. It is the home of the brand-new NPC, Sparkplug, who not only sells eight Mechanical Parts, but upgrades the weapons. Hence, it is safe to assume that the number of players that land at Catty Corner will significantly increase following the 16.20 update.

The Mythic Recycler has replaced the Mythic Primal Shotgun

Fortnite recently added the Recycler to the arsenal. As the name suggests, it sucks the nearby materials and recycles them as ammo. The Mythic variant of the weapon is now a part of the game, and it deals slightly more damage from the Legendary version.

While many players seem satisfied with the Mythic recycler, others believe it requires a big buff to justify its Mythic status.

Most importantly, the Mythic Recycler has replaced the Mythic Primal Shotgun. Ever since the release of Chapter 2 Season 6, the latter had become one of the biggest bones of contention among the players. Many pro players had severely criticized the Primal Shotgun and are more than happy with the removal of its Mythic variant.

Two new bows coming to Fortnite

Bows had replaced snipers in Fortnite in the latest season. With the 16.20 update, the developers have added two new bows to increase the interest of players in the weapon category.

Firstly, there is the Grappler Bow. It largely works as a classic Harpoon gun and also deals damage when shot at opponents. Next up, there’s the Splinter Bow. It deals 100 damage to players, which is a significant upgrade when compared to the other existing bows in the game.

Top5Gaming talked about the new bows in a recent video.
