Calling cops on streamers while they are streaming, or otherwise, is not new. Pranksters have been doing this for a  long time now. For those who do not know, swatting has been a common prank (albeit in poor taste and is basically a form of harassment) where someone calls the police on someone and falsely reports violent or emergency situations. This has previously resulted in deaths too, so it hardly qualifies as a prank. And it is a ‘jackpot’ when they do this to streamers while they are live-streaming. Someone recently swatted the Fortnite pro Clix. However, he was not on stream at that moment.

Fortnite pros like Bugha, Tfue, and DrDisrespect have been swatted too

DrDisrespect has been the victim of harassment more than once. A person had even shot at his house while in the middle of the stream. It’s sickening to think about how immature and insensible people can be. Last year, someone called the cops on him.

Bugha, Tfue, Logan Paul, the list of swatted streamers keeps growing. YouTuber Keemstar (famous from DramaAlert) had been swatted thrice already had to bear with another such instance last year.

Here’s something even more sickening. Two years ago, 12-year-old Fortnite streamer Rolly Ranchers was swatted live on stream. The kid could only say “How could you guys do this?” as he broke into tears. This is a terrifying thing for anyone to go through. Moreover, these ‘pranksters’ are risking jail time to harass someone to an extent that may well scar them in the long term.
