Trust us when we tell you the pay-off is pretty huge. Fortnite has partnered with PlayStation for this tournament that is exclusively for players on PS4 and PS5, and the winners stand a chance to win a PS5 console!
We all know how difficult it has been for the community to get their hands on the new-gen console from the house of Sony. We remember the pre-order massacre as well as the similar market conditions during the launch of the PS5. Given the availability status for the console across various retail options, we can certainly say that Epic has upped the ante for the PlayStation-exclusive tournament with such a huge payoff.

The structure of the Generations cup on Fortnite
Note that the Generations Cup is a Solos event, so prepare yourself accordingly. You will not have your usual squad mates to back you up.
As for the tournament structure, there will be three leagues, separated into ten divisions each.

- Open League: Division I (0 – 249 Hype points (“Hype”)), II (250 – 499 Hype), III (500 – 999 Hype), IV (1,000 – 1,499 Hype)
- Contender League: Division I (1,500 – 2,499 Hype), II (2,500 – 3,999 Hype), III (4,000 – 5,999 Hype)
- Champion League: Division I (6,000 – 11,999 Hype), II (12,000 – 15,999 Hype), III (16,000+ Hype)
