Fortnite battle royale season 3 FNCS Solos is currently going on. However, the response from the pro players with respect to the servers is at an all-time high. Almost all the top players from both NA and EU have expressed their discontent. When it comes to endgame lag, one has to understand the reasons behind it.
Nevertheless, amidst all this chaos, a shining ray of joy surfaces in the form of a young female winner. This makes her the first female FNCS Solos grand finalist. Gen.G Moqii @MoqiiZK had some really tough competition, but she surely made it through.
It’s a big deal because there’s barely any girls in professional esports. Skill level-wise everyone is seen as the same outside of the blatant sexism that runs rampant in gaming. Celebrating a woman for excelling in a field typically dominated by men is perfectly fine

With legends like FaZe Mongraal in the same lineup, it is quite an achievement to win 3 out of 6 matches. This youngster has shown a lot of heart out there. Even in matches where she didn’t do too well. Although, Twitter had a different take on her victory.

While most eminent handles and personalities congratulated the youngster, others were busy discussing how eSports is male-dominated. While the sex of a gamer has nothing to do with their skill, controversies arise from the best of places. Nevertheless, several pros came to her aid on Twitter, explaining how this disrespectful behavior is intolerable. No one could properly appreciate the fact that this is happening for the first time in history.
Can't wait for this to be in the Grand Finals, we all know its coming some day if you keep up the improvement. Now THAT will make serious waves in the gaming world 😍
Good shit, 3/6 wins is insane for solos and VERY rare ESPECIALLY on EU.

Hats off to the youngster who showed more maturity than the rest of the community.
All this hardly takes anything away from her victory. Upon watching the gameplay, it’s quite apparent that she has been practicing a lot and knows what she is doing.

Toxic mentality of the Fortnite community needs to change
Some of the comments were absolutely rude and obnoxious. Reflecting on the sorry state of gender bias in eSports @Hammancheez said, “I was going to joke about how bad it is that girls can play games and beat us men because we’ll have nothing left. Then of course I realized the actual wave of misogynistic horror that is probably being aimed at this kid who dared to compete. We have so much to fix in esports.”

the replies are bad, we get it. but people forget what our normal representation of a female pro gamer is, they’re usually shit, and they’re put in their own league so they don’t get shit on by good male players. congrats to this girl, made it to the top in a diverse league.

This sort of toxicity is ingrained from generations of normalization. It will take time and a lot of effort, but hopefully, eSports can become one of the free forms of expression for any and all genders.
