Every season of Fortnite caters to its complex storyline which revolves around the Zero Point. Some of the most popular characters in the game like Singularity, the Visitors, Galactus, and the Devourer have gained the attention of the community by fighting over this colossal source of energy.

One such iconic character is Midas. Epic Games introduced him in Chapter 2, Season 2, and he has been an integral part of Fortnite ever since.

Back in the day, Midas was a boss at the Agency, and several GHOST Henchmen guarded him. He had even created a Doomsday device to escape the Fortnite loop but had failed miserably. Furthermore, the trailer for Chapter 2 Season 3 showcased Midas being attacked by a Loot Shark.

Regardless, the character has still returned to Fortnite in many unusual forms. These include Shadow Midas, a Midas flopper, and Midas Rex.

Rumors of a female Midas skin had been floating around in the community for a long time. Following months of anticipation, Epic Games has finally announced the Marigold outfit as a part of the Golden Touch Challenge pack.

The Golden Touch Challenge Pack is currently available in the Item Shop for $11.99 and includes the following items:

  • Marigold outfit
  • Golden Gambit Back Bling
  • Golden Daggers Pickaxe

Just like Midas, Marigold boasts a reactive outfit and back bling. Both the cosmetics turn more golden with each elimination, and every weapon that Marigold picks up turns to gold.

Interestingly, the pack also contains some Golden Touch challenges through which players can unlock 1500 V-bucks. Starting from 6, they have to complete a total of 32 Uncommon or rarer quests to avail all the rewards.

Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite is nearing its end, and Season 6 is right around the corner. Luckily, the aforementioned Golden Touch challenges will be available even in Season 6, and players can take their time to complete them.

Epic Games leaves no opportunity to give credit to prominent creators for their efforts towards Fortnite. Following a similar approach, the developer has actively promoted the creator of Marigold skin, Kitsunekitsu, on Fortnite’s social media handles. In addition to that, every purchase related to the outfit will support her.
