Those who keep tabs on the Fortnite community may have heard about this new website, called Fortnite. gg. It is a website that basically lets you check how many V-Bucks you have spent in the game and the number of items you have in your locker. As one would expect, a lot of pros and players from the community have jumped on this platform to evaluate their account statistics and at times compare it with those of their peers.
As it turns out, most of the pros, streamers, and content creators have an insane amount of V-Bucks in their locker. The popular Fortnite data miner, content creator, and leaker, Hypex, owns a total of 921,600 V-Bucks. Converted to US Dollars, it comes to roughly $9000. Now, although this is an insane amount to spend on a video game, Hypex needs to do this in order to get new skins and more, to create content around it. Basically, he needs it for his job.

Speaking of an insane amount of V-Bucks, let us talk about the iconic Fortnite pro and streamer/content creator SypherPK for a while. This popular streamer currently has 1.57 million V-Bucks in his account. If converted to USD, it equals around $15000. However, we all know that in order to create regular content like him, one needs to have access to almost every bit of content there is in the game.

But the problem lies somewhere else, as Epic Games has pointed out.
Epic Games warns SypherPK against involving his Fortnite account with third-party tools
The official Twitter handle of Epic Games’ support team that deals with streamers and content creators replied to Sypher’s aforementioned tweet. It warned him against using such third-party websites to calculate one’s account statistics. The warning makes complete sense, as these third-party tools do not have much credibility to boast.

If you have already revealed your account details on Fortnite.gg, just to be safe, you can do what the Epic Support Twitter handle recommends. Change your account password and ensure 2FA is enabled.
Furthermore, it also said, “Reminder that currently there is no official feature to check account statistics.” If that is, in fact, the case, then the best course would be to avoid it as much as possible. Since Fortnite accounts are linked to the financial details of the player, this entire thing does involve major risks. If not so, then players always stand the risk of losing their accounts through these tools. We do not know much about this, so it is best to exercise caution.
