Fortnite has witnessed a massive resurgence of late after implementing changes to some issues in the game recently. The problems included SBMM, server lags, controller aim-assist issues on PC, OP guns, etc. Epic Games has solved most of these issues with the update v12.50, and the Fortnite community has heaped praise on the devs for their efforts. However, some new problems keep arising, as with most games.
Several content creators and players in the community recently identified an issue with the Dragoncorn Glider. The glider, released earlier on April 3 as a part of the Deadpool set, has some attributes that could influence the gameplay.
The Dragoncorn Glider’s vivid colors and animation create difficulties for opponents to detect, aim, and then connect their shots on the player deploying it. Moreover, the glider’s availability in the Item Shop created a “pay-to-win” scenario. These reasons provided an unfair advantage to players and added to the glider’s popularity in the competitive scene.

As a result, Fortnite addressed these concerns in a recent post on their service updates page on Twitter.

Last week, famed content creator in the Fortnite community, SypherPK uploaded a video on his YouTube channel about the Dragoncorn Glider. He explained the glider’s prevalence among most of the pro players and questioned its “pay-to-win” label.
Although some issues still remain, Epic has once again proven that they care about Fortnite players. They are giving their best efforts to take Fortnite back to its former glory. Promptly addressing the glider issue highlights that they are on the same page with their hard-to-satisfy community. The developers deserve credit where it’s due.
