Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite revolved around a plethora of collaborations with popular movie and games franchises around the world. From Kratos and Master Chief to Predator and Ripley, some of the most reputed bounty hunters in pop culture made their way to the island.

Despite such massive collaborations, we did not witness a lot of story development in Chapter 2 Season 5. The Zero Point remained exposed for the entire season, but the map did not go through any significant changes.

However, Epic Games has now released the cinematic trailer for the Zero Crisis story for Chapter 2 Season 6. As expected, it has dropped some huge hints about the upcoming events in Fortnite.

Agent Jonesy and The Visitor team up to save Fortnite

The trailer begins with Agent Jonesy heading towards the Zero Point with a Rift Gun. Doctor Slone, his boss, orders him to leave the area in order to save himself. He rejects the orders and mentions that he’s going to ‘the Seven’ for help.

Veterans must remember ‘the Seven’ from Chapter 1 Season 3. This group of seven cosmic entities comprises the Visitor, the Scientist, the Paradigm, and four unknown members. As per fan theories, the Seven is actually the Visitor and six of his unique versions from alternative realities.

On his way to the Zero Point, Agent Jonesy finds all the bounty hunters in Chapter 2 Season 5. To say the least, it was utter chaos as Kratos, Mancake, Predator, Master Chief, and many others were fighting each other.

Agent Jonesy somehow managed to throw the Rift Gun to the Zero Point, which led to an asteroid falling on the island. To everyone’s surprise, it was a member of the Seven named the Foundation. This confirms that the Seven visitors will play an important role in Chapter 2 Season 6, and Agent Jonesy will work alongside them.

Pump Shotgun returns in Chapter 2 Season 6

Another highlight from the cinematic trailer for Chapter 2 Season 6 was an intense fight sequence where Xenomorphs and Terminators attacked Agent Jonesy. Surprisingly, Ripley arrived with a Pump Shotgun and killed the monsters to save him.

With the addition of the Lever Action Shotgun, a majority of fans and Twitch streamer SypherPK had anticipated that the Pump Shotgun won’t return. However, it seems like the classic weapon is not leaving the Fortnite arsenal anytime soon.
