Chapter 2 Season 5 of Fortnite was a huge hit, primarily because of a plethora of collaborations that brought bounty hunters like Predator, Master Chief, and Kratos to the game. Moreover, it introduced the bounty hunting and gold bars to the meta.
Regardless, players had often complained about the lack of new content in Chapter 2 Season 5. Apparently, the map did not go through any significant changes, and the storyline did not progress either.
It seems like Epic Games has worked on these mistakes with Chapter 2 Season 6. The map already has a brand-new primal theme, and the meta is full of new weapons and crafting mechanics.

The primal forest might take over the entire island
The primal region on the Fortnite map has been one of the biggest highlights this season. As per leaks, this forest area will consume more POIs with the upcoming updates. These will include Sweaty Sands, Misty Meadows, and Retail Row.
It is worth noting that all the aforementioned POIs are near the Guardian Towers. In addition to that, players have noticed certain barriers and fortifications around them following the 16.10 update. All these developments hint at these locations getting affected by the primal forest in the near future.
As per SypherPK, the entire map will turn orange by the end of Chapter 2 Season 6.
