Fortnite hosted its FNCS duo finals on April 20th, 2020. While pro players, popular streamers from all across the globe, took part in a fair fight, some had different ideas. While the PC gamers enjoyed their appropriate rounds, console players from North America resorted to unfair means.
Paul1x, Ruben, Fayde, and Drew, accused of collaborating before the game began. They belonged to the famous Fortnite team named Talon. Three of them were kicked out of the team after this incident came to public knowledge. A disgraceful act from pros setting a poor example for youngsters who look up to them. Clearly, this was not how things were supposed to go.

Despite several explanations and posting screenshots on twitter, these players were not spared. It doesn’t matter to Epic Games who initiated it or who had the idea. To them, all four were equally guilty, and thus, the two-month ban for these players will probably teach them a lesson. What followed swiftly was their dismissal from their respective team (Talon).
The problem began when these players decided to help each other out instead of playing for themselves. From protecting themselves to multiple conversations of letting them kill each other. The charges against them are pretty grave.
Paul1x took to twitter with his screenshots, and those did reveal that the teams planned their drop location. The official statement from Fortnite will be out after they assess the entire situation. However, players have already started apologizing for their mistakes, which proves their guilt.

While the gaming community is split apart by these actions, some pro players came to their defense. Honestly, the gravity of their crimes is quite grave, but we have to consider a few things here. These players will probably not have big teams sign them again. The next two months of penance are going to be mentally taxing for them.
Talon issued an official statement saying that they are sorry for the actions of their players. “We do not condone the actions of these players have done and will not stand for it.”
