The Device event is set to kick-off in some time, and everyone has reasons to be thrilled. When it comes to in-game events, Fortnite has always placed a benchmark, and this event will be just as impressive. The season-ending event is set to alter the map drastically. So log into the game 30 minutes before the season-ending event and secure the best spot!
In case you are unable to witness the live event in-game, you can still join the broadcasts of popular Fortnite streamers on YouTube or Twitch. Alternatively, you can also catch a highlight or a replay video of the same, later, if you end up missing the event completely.

Where does the event take place and what to expect?
The narrative for the Doomsday event is based around Midas using an explosive device to settle the conflict between Shadow and Ghost. Right now, the Device is located in Midas’s room at the Agency HQ. It resembles a light-emitting orb that utilizes electricity, and will most likely explode, thereby, devastating the Agency. Thus, in all probability, the Agency is set to be the epicenter of the event.

Apart from that, several leaks have showcased the wrath unleashed on the Agency. The leaks have also suggested that specific parts of the map will become flooded or submerged. The event might lead to the downfall of several POIs on the map, including the Agency.
For now, nothing remains confirmed, everything is speculation. With the event going live shortly, we will get to know the outcome soon. Epic Games have planned a splendid conclusion for the current season, as well as to kickstart the new season, by the looks of it.
