Jadon Sancho has become one of the most promising wingers in world football. After leaving Manchester City, Sancho joined German giants Borussia Dortmund. The Yellow and Black who are known for developing young players, were the perfect place for the winger.
The move certainly paid off for the 22-year-old. Trusted with a starting role, Sancho proved why selling him was a bad move for the Cityzens. Coming up with 36 goal contributions in the 2020-21 season, the electrifying winger is already a star.

Given how Dortmund generally are up for selling talented players for the right price, prying him away from the Bundesliga might be a viable option. While many clubs are excited with Sancho’s talents, no one is more fascinated than United.

Manchester United’s interest on Sancho was an open secret. After failing to put across a deal with Dortmund in last season’s transfer window, United were desperate to complete the transfer for the highly touted winger.
During the Euros, United reportedly agreed a £72.9 million fee for the winger’s transfer. But 10 days later, the transfer still hasn’t been confirmed. United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a recent post game interview revealed when United might announce the signing of the English forward.
“From what I understand only paperwork, small little details, hopefully we can announce something,… Let’s get all the paperwork done and get him over the line and then I can say what I truly feel about the player.”
Sancho’s signing is certainly promising for the ‘Red Devils.’ United who have proven that they can be a defensively solid team, have had a lackluster attack. While they are flocked with players like Anthony Martial in the forward rotation, they lack quality in wing positions.

Marcus Rashford might have filled the left wing spot effectively, but the right side was always problematic. Deploying Sancho to the same will be an amazing solution. Not only is the Englishman quick, he also has incredible vision and can create ample opportunities.

His performance in Euros might have come to a disappointing end, but Sancho will be determined to perform for United. With his incredible versatility and his speed, the winger might be a big problem for many defenses.
If Sancho fulfills his potential this £72.9 million fee, might turn out to be a bargain. Do you think Sancho will succeed in Manchester United?
