With football leagues around the world getting increasingly disrupted by the outbreak of Covid-19, the Football Association, including Premier League has now decided to push the suspension date further.
The governing body confirmed there will be no professional football in England until no earlier than April 30.
The decision came after an emergency conference call with the 20 Premier League clubs agreeing on extending the date for the season to conclude.

The statement which was released on Thursday read:
?The FA, Premier League, EFL and women?s professional game, together with the PFA and LMA, understand we are in unprecedented times and our thoughts are with everyone affected by Covid-19.?
The provisional date for concluding the season ?no later than June 1? for the resumption of professional football has been pushed even further.
?Our Board has agreed for this limit to be extended indefinitely for the 2019-20 season in relation to professional football.
Given that the whole society was troubled by the pandemic it was tough to take a call on as all depends on government health measures.
?The progress of Covid-19 remains unclear and we can reassure everyone the health and welfare of players, staff, supporters are our priority.”
Earlier, the Uefa announced that it has postponed this summer?s European Championship.
FIFA, for its part, announced that it had set up a working group which will look at amendments and registration rules concerning player?s contracts.

The EFL, on Wednesday, announced a 50 million euros short-term relief package to assist clubs in need of immediate cash flow.
AC Milan?s Zlatan Ibrahimovic set up an online fundraiser, with immediate effect, to distribute funds to the Humanitas Hospital in northern Italy.

Juventus president, Andrea Agnelli, and his family donated 10 million euros, including medical devices, to the Italian Civil Protection.
La Liga?s Espanyol donated 6,000 masks to various medical centres and hospitals to help address the outbreak of coronavirus.
