Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is currently without any job and was waiting for the France national team job. However, France Football Federation has extended the current manager, Didier Deschamps’ contract till the 2026 World Cup.
It came as an opportunity for the USMNT to offer their managerial job to Zidane. The offer was lucrative, with a high salary, and USMNT was ready to offer the job till the 2026 World Cup, to be held in North America. However, the legendary midfielder rejected it, and US Soccer fans are reacting to the news.

Some fans also suggested the federation few names for the job, like Jose Mourinho and Marcelo Bielsa. It will be interesting to see how things pan out for USMNT and Zidane. There are calls from the USMNT fans to have a proper process and bring in a big name. It seems like fans and the federation are moving from Gregg Berhalter, but no one can deny the reappointment of Berhalter.
