The launch of the Xbox series S/X is just around the corner. The fans rushed to the online stores as soon as the pre-orders were announced. More importantly, Microsoft is aware that many people are getting their hands on the console earlier than announced.
The pre-order mechanism that was laid down by Microsoft stood as a blueprint for PlayStation 5 pre-orders that were rather chaotic.
Keeping this in mind, Xbox has sent a message to the players that have already received the console. Microsoft has announced an update for the players that have already fired up the console. The players will get several updates, including optimization patches pre-launch.

Is Xbox ahead of its competitor in the console war?
Just recently, a report listed a compilation of the loading time of some backward compatible titles on the next-gen consoles. While it might have been easy to assume that the battle would be fierce, the Xbox won by a good margin.
This puts Sony’s claim that its SSD is faster than Xbox Series X under heavy scrutiny. The results tell a different story as most of the titles load faster on Microsoft’s new-gen console. However, the same may not be the case for next-gen titles.
This makes the console war more interesting than ever. The Xbox might not have a long-range of exclusives at launch, but its hardware is capable enough to run both current and next-gen titles at exhilarating rates.

This list includes Gears Tactics, Gears 5, Destiny 2, Forza Horizon 4, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
The following days after the release of the console promise to be very exciting. There is a lot more yet to come. Xbox Series S/X gets its worldwide release on November 10. Stay tuned for more updates!
