EA Sports has never shied away from coming up with bold openings for every edition of FIFA it releases. However, with FIFA 21, it has gone a step ahead. EA Sports recently dropped a video showing off the opening cinematic for FIFA 21 for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The video is frankly jaw-dropping, as we see the precision and attention to detail put in behind every aspect of the game. This might just be the most realistic version of FIFA we have seen so far.

The opening video shows us moments before a match between Liverpool and PSG. We see the whole narrative through the eyes of a young mascot. So the narration is innocent, yet bold and hopeful.
“I can’t wait to watch them play, but even more than that, I can’t wait to get my chance.”
We see prominent figures such as Mbappe, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and even Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp. The attention to detail is impeccable and the resemblance to the actual entities is uncanny.
FIFA 21 has included realistic details such as an audience that very closely resembles a real-life audience at soccer matches. We can see the spectators walking around the venue and shuffling into the stadium. This addition is quite a welcome one during this year of a pandemic when most soccer matches are taking place behind closed doors.
The next-gen FIFA boasts of insane visuals
If we are to take a hint from the opening cinematic that EA dropped, we can expect drool-worthy visuals in FIFA 21. The addition of EA Sports GameCam gives players a perspective that resembles a TV broadcast.
“When I watch them on TV, they look so small. I wonder if it’ll be the same here.”
The LiveLight Rendering feature is what FIFA players are waiting eagerly for.
