It has become clear that Ferrari is sick of not winning the Constructors’ Championship for the longest time. The team has one of the most loyal fan bases and the world awaits for the team to redeem themselves. With that said, John Elkann is now on the move, making some crucial decisions to bring Ferrari back to the top.
One of the biggest moves that Elkann made was to sign Lewis Hamilton for 2025, bringing in the current-day legend to the prancing horses’ stable. However, it looks like that is not enough, as the Ferrari boss is looking to bring in a star engineer to tie the package together.

Ferrari wants the title bad and now it’s getting more evident. In a recent report from Analisitecnica, it was mentioned that Elkann has plans to bring star engineer Adrian Newey to the team. Newey has been the center pillar in the success of Red Bull’s current domination, and with the tensions high in the team, there are chances that Red Bull will collapse. Making complete advantage of the situation at Red Bull, Ferrari’s boss has decided to call Newey to make a car Lewis Hamilton can drive in 2025.
The divide and conquer can also be noticed with what has happened to Mercedes after the news of Hamilton leaving the team. This year looks difficult for the Silver Arrows as they are now a contender for 4th place with almost anything that can happen at this point. Despite this, bringing in the Red Bull engineer might just end the team’s domination on the track maybe pushing Max Verstappen away from always finishing P1.
The situation is shaky at the Red Bull quarters, and Max Verstappen and Helmut Marko are all over the news with rumors of them leaving after this season. This gives Ferrari a good chance to take the opportunity and push itself to bring home the championship and do justice to all the Tifosi rooting for the most iconic team in F1. But then the question comes up: what is Ferrari’s plan behind all of this?

The Ferrari Super Team
The current most dominant driver on the track is Max Verstappen and many believe it’s highly due to the RB20 being a class apart. Adrian Newey has perfected the formula for a car that is not only fast but also can cut around corners with great agility. Considering that the main reason Lewis Hamilton is leaving Mercedes is because he is not given a competitive car. It will become clear that this move will not only benefit Ferrari but give the 7-time world champion a shot at his 8th title.
Along with that, Hamilton will drive alongside Charles Leclerc who is an extremely quick driver to begin with. If Adrian Newey moves to Ferrari, this might just mean the Tifosi will be done justice after 2008. That being said, do you think Newey will make the switch from Red Bull to Ferrari?
