Adesanya is no less than an MMA pundit, as he brings his in-depth analysis through the means of his YouTube video. In fact, he yet again seemed to captivate the fans as he laid it straight about why Khamzat Chimaev was on the verge of being his next challenger but not Dricus du Plessis. He further delivered a zinger for the former two-time UFC champion, Conor McGregor. While discussing various recent aspects of the MMA scene, Adesanya was asked if Khamzat Chimaev was going to be the next number one contender, but not du Plessis.

Replying with utter calmness, he said, “Definitely! But again, I do want to fight Dricus, but he has to know he is not calling the shots here. That is the thing I am so again, a guy who oh my foot is this, my foot is that. Look at me, my foot is a balloon. Yeah but, we will see,”

Adesanya has surely been one of the most confident MMA stars of the current era. He laid it out straight: du Plessis might have lost the opportunity, and Chimaev was only one step away from the title shot, considering his upcoming bout against Paulo Costa. However, he took shots at McGregor, highlighting McGregor’s justifications after he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov, saying “My foot is a balloon”.

Adesanya’s considerations for Chimaev might open doors for a brand new beef. But, the analysis of Adesanya’s next opponent is not only confined to the fans, but also numerous MMA pundits. Likewise, while analyzing his next opponent, a UFC legend shed light on the possible plans of Israel Adesanya. But who was that UFC legend?
