The rumors of Far Cry 6 being in the works have been going around for a while now. To build up the anticipation, Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito mentioned in an interview that he was working on a game that was going to be huge. Rumors said that the game was reportedly Far Cry 6. And let’s be honest, Esposito is a game that is completely lawless and violent? He’ll do an amazing job!
Ubisoft’s plans for Far Cry 6 might’ve been confirmed thanks to a leak on PSN HK. Take a look:

The image confirms Esposito’s presence which makes it even more exciting. This leak comes at a rather suspicious time considering the Ubisoft Froward event is just two days away. The game will also be available as a free upgrade for the PS5 if bought for the PS4, which is something titles like Marvel’s Avengers and Cyberpunk 2077 are also offering.
Far Cry 6 Plot
The leak roughly translates the plot as
“Welcome to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time. As the dictator of Yara, Anton Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression has ignited a revolution.
Fight For freedom
Play as Dani Rojas, a local Yaran and become a guerrilla fighter to liberate the nation
The plot seems quite similar to other Far Cry titles. We’ll have to see how different will the gameplay be than its previous titles.

The page also mentions that the game will be available on 18 February 2021.
The upcoming Ubisoft Forward event will most likely show us a glimpse of the gameplay or maybe even a cinematic trailer. The official website states
“The main show starts at 12:00 PM PDT, where you can expect the latest games, reveals, and updates from Ubisoft teams around the world. See more from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, Hyper Scape and a few other surprises that will be unveiled during the stream. And don’t forget to stick around afterwards for the post-show, featuring a deep-dive walkthrough of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and a Hyper Scape show match.”
Assassins Creed Valhalla’s gameplay was also leaked a couple of days ago. You can read about it here. For now, we are extremely excited to see how Esposito carries himself in the game and how it turns out to be. Stay tuned for more updates.
