However, making beats that one can groove to is not the only thing Zedd is good at. The artist’s latest tweet shows that he also has an affection for Valorant, the FPS by Riot Games.

The German-Russian DJ has had a thing for gaming for a while. He has indulged a little in Overwatch, Apex Legends, and CS:GO. However, with his entry into Valorant, the DJ has also started his streaming career on Twitch. Since then, he has often streamed himself playing the game and managed to gather a decent audience.

Although the DJ hasn’t streamed in quite some time, he shared an update on his Valorant progress on Twitter recently. According to the tweet, it seems like Zedd is a seasoned player and is quite good at the game.

Zedd reaches Immortal rank in Valorant

In his recent tweet, Zedd shared with his fans that he has successfully reached the ‘Immortal’ rank in the game. He also shared a clip showcasing his recent game results, which is a stream of green. Zedd is on a winning streak that runs longer than eight games.

The artist also got the MVP title in many of his recent game on the road to the Immortal rank. Zedd’s rank is the second highest rank in Valorant, right behind Radiant, the highest rank in the game. Given Valorant’s ranking system, the progression is certainly difficult. Therefore, the DJ’s achievement is no small feat.

The gaming community congratulated Zedd on his achievement.

Not just Nadeshot, the artist was also appreciated by the official Twitter account of Valorant.

The DJ said that he is already on his way to the Radiant rank.

Zedd joins the list of musicians affiliated with gaming after Logic and Drake. His association could prove extremely useful to streamers in the hopes that following others, he could allow Twitch streamers to use his music without worrying about DMCA strikes. Hopefully, the top 30 DJ could be a great new addition to the gaming community.
