Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, unsurprisingly, has become the talk of the town barely within a few days of its release. The game fills you up with nostalgia. It is based on a few shows that a lot of us have watched while growing up.

Takeshi’s Castle, Total Wipeout, and Ninja Warriors just to name a few. It is a multiplayer Battle Royale where 60 players start the game to navigate their way through obstacles.

Obstacles are based on a process of elimination, you have to do better than your opponents in a bid to make it to the next round. There are 25 mini-games available in the game right now and there are more on the way. However, the timeline of the same remains a mystery.

At its core, every game is about running, jumping, diving and grabbing. However, there are certain tricks and tips that will give you an edge over your opponents.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout: Minigames and Tricks

Door Dash

One of my favorite levels in the game. Reminds me of Takeshi’s castle the most. So, as the name suggests, you along with your opponents have to rush through a series of doors. But only some will allow you to pass while others will make you bounce back. All the doors look identical so there is no way to find out which will let you through. There is one neat trick that guarantees your spot in the next round.

All you have to do is wait or your opponents to rush through the doors. You hang back in line and wait for a clear shot at rushing through one of the doors that are already open. This eliminates the leader of the pack and gives you an easy entry to the next round.

SeeSaw

A series of giant See Saws are placed. The players get on the platform and add weight to the side the players are on making it heavy. The side which gets heavier, players will definitely slide off. However, there are a couple of things you need to remember here.

One, you should try to jump towards the middle. A white line is clearly marked, which might make it easier for you. Jumping towards the middle of this platform will give you more balance and will also help you figure out which side you need to run towards to get to the next platform. Two, the seesaws are not connected and have a small gap. Make sure you don’t fall off.

Also, a lot of these obstacles require you to cooperate with your opponents. This game is a perfect example. So, you won’t be the only one jumping to the platform. If more people jump towards one side, don’t follow them. Make sure you take the opposite side to balance the weight.

Hit Parade

This is an obstacle race with four parts. They might sound simple on paper but are very difficult to accomplish.

You have to run and jump along with beams, glide through sliding doors, avoid getting hit by moving wrecking balls, and finally, climb up a slimy hill.

It’s fine if you fall in the first section. The beams don’t constantly move, so you won’t take a lot of time to get back on track. With the number of players jumping from one beam to another. There is a high chance that you might end up falling.

The second section is spinning doors that work like revolving doors. It will be easier if you just run along with the other opponents as it makes the task easier. If you are moving against the flow and slower than the rest, you will have to overcome momentum to get the gates spinning again. This section is rather easy if you just follow the crowd and push through the doors together.

The next obstacle is the swinging wrecking balls. You might not be able to see them, which makes this section tough. However, you can rely on your peripheral vision and the visible shadows to be able to determine which side to run towards. It’s alright if you take a couple of seconds to stop and analyze which way you should head in order to not get hit.

The slimy wall will make it difficult for you to move if you slow down. Be careful of the bumpers because they definitely will make sure that you slow down and avoid the climb. It is a mammoth task to get moving again.

Tip Toe

This game is based on the concept of trial and error. You have to cross a path made of tiles and some of them are fake. The tiles which make up this path will light up and allow you to move forward while the other will restart your run.

However, this game also tests your memory, as the tiles which make up the path and light, they fade after a couple of seconds which leaves you guessing again.

The main idea is to stay in the middle to make the right choices. Some of these fake tiles shake occasionally, which should provide you with a hint. But otherwise, follow a few of your opponents to see the path they take and make sure you choose the right tiles. Even if you fall down and have to start all over, make sure you follow the path you chose in your previous try and don’t jump on the fake tiles.
