The 50-year-old coach spoke on this and stated, “Of course, I failed many times, but where the self-esteem is big enough, it’s okay to fail because failing is not the final destination. What’s the problem if in the end, you are going to succeed? Who’s going to remember that you failed 20 times? Nobody. But if you panic with the idea of failing, then you are not going to try.”

Serena Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou provides key insights

He warned that if an individual’s self-esteem is low, it will be difficult for them to get out of their comfort zone. There is a lack of motivation and then the going gets difficult. There are many out there who dream, but they are unable to fulfill it because they give up before they begin.

The French coach added, “If the self-esteem is too small, there is no way you are going to get out of your comfort zone. There is no way you’re going to try, there is no way you are going to work hard to achieve something that you don’t think you can get, and you’re not going to start. And we all know around us, so many people have dreams because they don’t try because they don’t believe have a chance to do it.”
