The Austrian tennis ace Dominic Thiem changed his hairdo and Fabio Fognini made fun of Thiem’s blonde hairstyle. “Nice hair my friend… You look like a pineapple,” Fognini commented on Thiem’s Instagram post from Miami.
This year the duo played doubles in Beijing, China.

World Number four Dominic Thiem concluded the year 2019 in the best possible way. He played a three-set thriller in the ATP World Tour Finals 2019 finals against Stefanos Tsitsipas. Thiem along with Novak Djokovic bagged a gigantic number of five ATP titles this season which is the highest count.
Dominic Thiem has unveiled his 2020 tennis calendar. It is highly possible that in 2020 he will return to all the five tournaments which he won this year. Thiem will be defending his points from those events.
Till now Thiem hasn’t been vocal about his 2020 Olympic Games plans and it clashes with his home country event of Kitzbuhel Open (which Thiem won this year). Also Thiem is committed to playing in Kitzbuhel, Austria.
Meanwhile, off the courts Dominic Thiem broke up with his girlfriend, Kristina Mladenovic. He revealed the reason for their split on an Austrian talk show.

World Number 12 Fabio Fognini announced the amendments to his coaching team. The Italian tennis professional teamed up with his compatriot Corrado Barazzutti and he will be Fognini’s head coach for the 2020 tennis season.

This year both Thiem and Fognini won the biggest titles of their careers. Thiem pulled off the Indian Wells title after defeating Roger Federer in the finals. Fognini won his first-ever Masters 1000 title which remarked season 2019 as the best season of his career so far.
He defeated Rafael Nadal in straight sets in the semifinals of Monte-Carlo Masters 2019 and advanced to the finals. Fognini clinched his first Masters 1000 title in Monaco.
