The Monaco Grand Prix weekend in 2022 was a grand affair. The weekend was filled with stars and celebrities from quarters of the world, belonging to different fields. They all wanted to get involved in the weekend and one of the most in-demand people was the Mercedes team principal, Toto Wolff.

Wolff has gained a lot of popularity for guiding the all-conquering Mercedes F1 team to 8 consecutive constructors’ championships. He is also a noticeable figure in Netflix’s F1 series Drive to Survive. Hollywood actress Nina Dobrev took to social media to post a video of her meeting with the Mercedes team boss in the pit lane.

Hollywood actress Nina Dobrev sings praises of Mercedes team boss

Dobrev is currently dating the American Olympic legend, Shaun White. The pair attended the Monaco GP weekend together to immerse themselves in the racing spectacle. She took to her Instagram Stories where she filmed Shaun meeting the Mercedes team boss ahead of the race on Sunday.

“King Toto,” wrote Dobrev in her Instagram Story after meeting the Austrian. Wolff was very welcoming to Shaun, who has just recently retired from skateboarding. ” Congratulations on your career,” Wolff said to Shaun.

The pair also met with 7-time world champion and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton. It was pretty amazing to see White, Hamilton, and Wolff having a conversation in the pitlane.

Monaco GP did not turn out to be the weekend that Mercedes would have hoped for. Hamilton once again found himself behind the midfield teams and could not clear them to score more points. But Toto believes that Hamilton’s luck will turn in the future.

Lewis failed to clear Fernando Alonso and get ahead in the race. He certainly hasn’t been lucky in these situations in the 2022 season and has lost points because of that. But Wolff is confident that he will turn his luck around.

“The red flag yesterday in qualifying and then you know what happens in races before. I think the pendulum will swing so that these unlucky situations will stop with Lewis,” said Toto.
