Formula 1 is one of the most popular sports in the world. Coldplay is one of the most popular bands. And TikTok is one of the most popular apps. If something remotely interesting happens in the former entities, there are bound to be TikTok videos about them. And recently, the worlds of F1 and Coldplay converged a little when Alpine driver Pierre Gasly attended a Coldplay concert in Milan with his girlfriend, Francisca “Kika” Cerqueira Gomes. And fans are already anticipating the videos that are to follow.

The British rock band Coldplay is on a world tour to perform its album Music of the Spheres, along with a few of their greatest hits. And last night, it made its way to Milan, Italy. With the F1 world tour on a break before the Austrian GP that starts on Friday, Pierre Gasly and his girlfriend decided to spend time together singing their hearts out to Coldplay’s music.

The pair were seen singing along to “Yellow,” one of the British band’s greatest love songs, which had their fans swooning. But with the video, a picture of the two surfaced, taken from behind them, which portrayed them enjoying the concert. And fans were quick to point out that this picture would endlessly be used in the F1 POV TikToks that some fans love to make—which, to a large extent, for fans, are an attempt to live vicariously through them.

While some people watch these POVs as a guilty pleasure, many others find them cringe-worthy. And fans expressed what they thought on Twitter.

POV: Fan reactions to Pierre Gasly and Kika’s picture

As F1 gained popularity, TikTok videos and Instagram reels on the sport started popping up. And fans began making videos with hypothetical situations using pictures and videos of F1 drivers—a lot of them along the lines of what it would be like to date an F1 driver. With Gasly and Kika’s picture that surfaced after last night’s Coldplay concert, fans have already predicted the onslaught of videos that will surely appear on their TikTok feeds.

Many users like F1 for the sport. But a lot of others like it for the sport as well as the drivers. And when one fan posted the picture of Pierre and Kika with the caption, “Watch this pic be used in one of those tik tok F1 POVs,” a lot of users started dreading what was to come.

Some users asked the person who posted the picture not to give people who made these videos any ideas.

They even replied that those people would already be a few steps ahead of them, with the picture already in their gallery to put into their videos.

Fans even predicted what a few of the POVs would be.

One fan wrote how one POV could be how he missed his home race to attend the Coldplay concert. The French GP usually happens around this time of the year, but with it being removed from the calendar for the foreseeable future, this comment was hilarious while also being apt.
