Red Bull has been hit by a storm after the allegation surrounding Christian Horner came to light. What started as an ‘inappropriate behavior’ controversy has sprung into becoming a battle for power at Red Bull. It is Christian Horner versus everyone else and the team principal does not mind members leaving.
Amidst this struggle, Christian Horner has been reported to want Helmut Marko out of the team, but if the director were to leave, so would Max Verstappen. Following the Jeddah Grand Prix, Horner is on the move again, and this time it is to move away the Chief Technical Officer to another project, to isolate people who are against him.

The Red Bull paddock is divided between the Horner supporters and the ones against him. Even Adrian Newey has expressed dissatisfaction with the way the management is being compromised for personal gains.
If Christian Horner has pushed Newey to the $6.2 million hypercar, and the CTO is not happy about it, Ferrari has mentioned their desire to bring in the RB20 engineer to work with Lewis Hamilton in 2025. That being said, the Milton Keynes outlet has a lot of repairs to do in terms of team dynamics. On the other hand, Horner is denying the fight for power in front of the media, saying that the team is working for the same goal, which is winning.

In a round of damage control, after the Bahrain Grand Prix itself, many questions about Max Verstappen leaving the team started to surface. The team principal has publically denied the rumors and stated, “There is no tension or stress. You can see how relaxed Max is in the garage with everyone. Of course, every team would like to have him. But as Toto (Wolff) said, the best drivers always want to be in the best car.” By bringing up Toto Wolff’s words he deflected the questions by not giving a direct answer.
Instilling confidence in the team, he added, “Of course, you can never rule out everything. If a driver wants to be somewhere else, then he goes somewhere else. But I don’t see any reason why anyone would want to leave this team. Max has full support around him and does a great job in a great car.” While the fact that the RB20 is a winning car remains true, despite what Horner says about the tension and stress, the other teammates have been expressing otherwise.
