“I am so lucky to share my life with you,” wrote Carmen Monero Mundt when she posted a picture of George Russell last year on his birthday. The duo who met in 2020 are everyone’s darlings because of their stability and grace. They are inseparable during the off-season and dotting girlfriend Carmen takes time out from her girl boss duties to visit the Mercedes driver while the races are going on. Interestingly, the two who are in the fourth year of their relationship might have taken it to the next level.
In the Beckham docuseries on Netflix, the world got a glimpse of what love means for an athlete when they are part of an ever-moving, fast-paced circus. Victoria gave David Beckham stability. That is the power of love. When it is the right kind, it makes you rise and grow instead of falling into it. Carmen had the same kind of effect on the then-Williams driver, George Russell. But have they taken it to the next level?
Why does the world think they are engaged?

So let us get to the point. Carmen is leaving London. She took to Instagram to post the news of her moving. She wrote, “Changes are often scary! Leaving London in the next month after almost 9 years. I’ve been here all my adulthood, and it feels unreal that it has come to an end. Excitement and fear. London will always be part of who I am today and has a place in my heart. Can’t wait to share how I feel about making the decision and the changes that I’m making in my life.” The fact she was moving from a well-settled and established life was the first bit that sparked the first round of rumors. It is not the wildest of theories because of the number of partners (including First Lady of F1 Kelly Piquet) who live in Monaco with their driver boyfriends. But that is not all.

Recently, an Instagram page F1 Gossipp Official reported something along similar lines. Carmen had put up a picture of a girl on her story and, after digging deep, it was discovered that SHE IS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER. The caption of the said post read, “Will we have WAG walking down the aisle in 2024?! Check out this story that Carmen posted with a girl called Camila. Our followers quickly discovered that the girl does wedding photography!”
Won’t it be great if the two walk down the aisle? Especially after the two survived the lover’s silly season. The two stuck together even after the whole world was breaking up around them.
George Russell and Carmen Mundt even survived the breakup season

Since the end of 2022 and the first half of 2023, the love stories in the Formula 1 world felt like a collapsing house of cards. One breakup after another and sudden new relationships. There came a point where it felt like everyone had broken up. While it was Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris announced their separations publicly, others were a little coy about it.
Carlos Sainz blurted out about his breakup during a fan interaction session at the Spanish GP last year. Others, like Pierre Gasly and his teammate Esteban Ocon, simply went public with their new loves after a tiny break. The solid couple Carmen and George stood solid amid the breakup storm that had hit the circus. George’s closest friends Alex Albon and his GF Lily Muni He joke about marriage or the possibility of having kids, when Alex said their kids will have really big heads because both of them have that trait, Russell and Mundt have not spoken of it except when he addressed her mum as Mother in Law during a promotional ad.
