Lewis Hamilton is one of the highest-paid athletes in the world. But, at the age of 37, he is arguably in the twilight stage of his career. So now, the seven-time world champion is looking to invest in other business ventures to expand his portfolio and secure his future post his glorious racing career.

During the F1 summer break, Lewis decided to become a part owner of the Denver Broncos ownership group. With this step he joined the list of celebrities who own or partly own teams, like Michael Jordan (23XI Racing) and Magic Johnson (Los Angeles Dodgers).

Nathaniel Hackett, Denver Broncos Head Coach, voiced his excitement after the F1 legend decided to join the consortium consisting of high-profile individuals.
Talking about Lewis’ entry into the organization, Nathaniel said, “That’s pretty awesome… I was shocked. That’s a legend. Anytime you can have a winner of that caliber, it’s an honor just to be part of an organization that he’s in.”
“It’s a great group that they put together. It really is. I can’t wait to get to know everybody and talk with them”

The Head coach also expressed his desire to meet the seven-time world champion. “Maybe after the season a little more because we have a lot going on. I’m really excited about it,” Nathaniel added.
F1, after a brief break, returns to action with a doubleheader of Singapore and Japan. Lewis Hamilton would be working hard to make the most of the upcoming high downforce track and win his first Grand Prix of the season.

The Brit’s business investments are just not restricted to sports teams. He recently started to follow Plus44 on Instagram. After that, the account confirmed that it will be selling Lewis himself merchandise. In addition to this, Lewis also has his own clothing brand in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger.
In 2018, talking about his business acumen, Lewis said, “I like to think I’m quite good at choosing the business ventures that I enter. I like to think I have got relatively good foresight on a lot of things that I choose to be a part of and do.”
