Miami is up next! McLaren CEO Zak Brown is excited about the Miami GP, are you? Fans still can’t believe that this dream come true race is actually happening. Though it faces some legal issues, we hope for a green flag soon.

This GP was a much sought-after place for drivers and fans alike. After all, it’s Miami, a beachside city with the most glamorous views.

McLaren CEO Zak Brown has not seen anything like the Miami GP craze

Scheduled on May 8 -10 the GP’s new track has already been toured by Red Bull’s Sergio Perez. The helmet cam gave us a view of what we can expect. This track is highly anticipated to become possibly one of the favorites in the near future. The Miami Gardens that will host the race will provide us with some exceptional scenic beauty involving palm trees, beautiful landmarks, etc.

In Zak Brown’s own words, he said, “It’s going to be awesome. I’ve been here six years and I’ve never seen demand or buzz for a Grand Prix like I’ve seen for Miami,”

“We can easily double our hospitality and we’re already the largest hospitality buyer in Miami… It rivals the Super Bowl as far as ‘are you going to the Miami race’?”

“I’ve been around F1 for 20 years and I’m used to going to Grand Prix but I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Super Bowl is one of the most popular sporting events in the world. Half-time performances are very popular in America; the stage has hosted several known entities, including Lady Gaga, Beyonce, etc. The half-time performances are one of the primary reasons for the buzz, as people assemble in huge numbers to watch their favorite players and performers.

America finally appreciates F1

After an expectant list of A-list celebrities, this GP has already created a similar buzz. The Metropolitan area has hosted the Super Bowl a record number of times, and to create a buzz similar to that is amazing. Explaining the importance of the Super Bowl, Zak confessed: “Having been around the Super Bowl, where there’s the football game and then there’s the halftime celebs and shows, this feels like the Super Bowl.”

Motorsports’ growth in recent years has been amazing. A lot of the appreciation goes to the famous DTS series, which made America go crazy over F1. As of 2022, the country will host 2 races while Las Vegas will debut next year. Moreover, Vegas has also managed to create a hefty buzz as the F1 circuit hot laps are already out, and the circuit looks amazing.
