Toto Wolff is the man in charge of Mercedes. He has taken the Brackley-based team to seven world titles and aims for the eighth one in 2021. However, he feels that his “colleagues” on the grid trash talk too much to each other, especially Zak Brown and Christian Horner.
Zak Brown is the man leading McLaren, while Horner is in charge of Red Bull. They had a tough battle last year, but Mercedes came out on top, while McLaren and Red Bull had to settle for third and second place, respectively.
In 2021, Brown‘s team, McLaren currently sits in third place with 18 points, courtesy of Lando Norris and Ricciardo. While the Silver Arrows enjoyed a double podium and brought home 41 points to the team and lead in the constructor’s standings.

In an interview with Osterreich, Toto allegedly said, “Brown is like Christian Horner. They just spread sh*t. I don’t care.” Wolff further clarified that it got lost in translation. He added, “I have respect for both of them. That was totally misquoted, and I think it got literally lost in translation.”

“I said, ‘they give each other shit a lot’, and the way it was quoted is ‘they talk shit’, which is not quite the same. Zak is a big part of the Mercedes family and a friend. With all the banter that we have between us. It’s not something that I would accuse him of,” Wolff concluded.
