Zak Brown’s Worst Nightmare About Lando Norris Given an Exciting Solution From the Red Bull Stable

As the year progresses, a lot of interesting dynamics are starting to reveal themselves in the world of Formula 1. Last year’s silly season was one of the best we’ve seen. However, as certain contracts come to an end, and others sustain, a lot is at stake for all 10 teams. That being said, as things stand, the team with the most to lose are in fact, McLaren. After a false resurgence, on the back of which they convinced Lando Norris to sign a long-term deal, the team have once again fallen back.
Norris himself is one of the biggest stars in the paddock. He’s been tipped as a future world champion. Naturally, the Woking-based outfit will be fighting tooth-and-nail to ensure that the Brit remains with them. But given their prolonged struggles, the 23-year-old has been tipped to ditch the storied team to seek newer pastures elsewhere.

One of the teams that has been heavily linked with Norris has been the dominant Red Bull. The Milton-Keynes-based outfit has acknowledged their prior interest in the young driver, however, with a solid driver pairing in the shape of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez already established, the doors to MK7 may have shut for Norris for now.
So, where next for Norris? On the Red Flags Podcast, the hosts insinuated, “What could be interesting is, if Lando [Norris] goes to Audi. If Lando leaves, which is looking more and more likely. If he goes somewhere else, Ferrari, somewhere else. McLaren is been linking with Honda, so that could be Yuki’s [Tsunoda] next stop maybe.”

Arguably, after the fate McLaren have suffered in the first few races of the season, Norris must be getting impatient. Time and again he has been touted to leave and get a more competitive seat elsewhere. Now, the Brit has come out with a statement of his own.
When quizzed about his McLaren contract, he told Formula1.com, “I guess I’m at a point where [the rumors don’t] affect me in any way. I’m, I guess, fine with it to an extent, apart from when it’s just complete BS that people try and come up with and completely fake stories that people make up.”
