Lando Norris, having spent just over 2 years in F1, is already in pursuit of securing an impressive P3 in the championship this season.

The Briton did look quite cautious over his initial couple of seasons. However, 2021 has witnessed an aggressive Norris, who has hardly backed off from on-track battles. So, what caused this sudden spurt of performance from the McLaren driver?

Well, McLaren’s boss, Zak Brown, revealed he demanded Norris to start pushing the car to its absolute limits. What’s more, McLaren encouraged Norris not to worry about exceeding the limits and causing mistakes on the track.

What did the McLaren boss say?

As reported by Formel1, Brown reckoned that Norris was one of the cleanest rookies F1 had ever witnessed, as the Briton hardly made errors on the track. Hence, after keeping an eye on the clean racing over his debut year, Brown supported Norris to step up his game.
