We know Lando Norris as one of the hilarious drivers on the F1 grid. He always has a smile on his face and laughs at anything and everything around him. We also know him for his online presence on streaming platforms such as Twitch, where he regularly steams and interacts with fans.

Recently, while answering questions from his fans on Twitch, it was quite noticeable how much Norris likes AlphaTauri driver Yuki Tsunoda. He revealed that Yuki would be one of the 5 drivers that he would combine to make the ‘Ultimate Driver’. However, the reason to pick the Japanese driver had nothing to do with his driving.

He picked Tsunoda as he is very entertaining on the radio exchanges during the race. “A bit of Yuki. You know Yūki loves a little radio scream. So, just for pure entertainment, I would put Yuki in there,” said Norris. The McLaren driver also mentioned that the Japanese driver would be great at karting.

The AlphaTauri driver is the shortest driver on the grid, which is a good thing in karting, according to Lando. The McLaren driver explained how having a smaller stature in terms of height and weight is nifty while racing in go-karts.

“See, I think Yuki Tsunoda would win. Yuki is a decent paddler, but he is also half the weight of everyone else on the grid, and in karting that is just a large advantage,” said Lando.

Norris himself owns a karting team he bought last year. So at the very least, Lando knows what he is talking about.

Tsunoda has got to a slow start to the season with the AlphaTauri missing the whole of Saudi Arabia GP because of his car troubles. Although he looked really fast in the Barcelona Pre-season, he and his teammate, Pierre Gasly, have not yet delivered.

Let’s hope that they can find their form soon and help their team fight in the battles in the midfield. It is an important year for Yuki, who could be fighting for his seat at the end of the season with one of the Red Bull junior drivers. Let’s see where they finish at the end of the season.
