Max Verstappen is a freaking nightmare for other drivers. The Dutchman was always regarded as one of the most talented drivers on the grid. However, his dominance and mentality have taken him to the next level, where he’s now a menace for other drivers to compete against. Moreover, the double-world champion even impressed the likes of Mathias Lauda, son of the legendary racer Niki Lauda.

It would be an understatement to say Max Verstappen has been mighty good this season. Yes, he might have the best car available, but the things he has done in his RB-18 at such a young age are phenomenal. He’s crushed anyone that’s come in his way and broken multiple records this year.

Verstappen also impressed Mathias Lauda, son of 3 times world champion Niki Lauda. Mathias further claimed Verstappen is a rare breed of driver; a talent that comes once in a century.

Lauda said, “This year Mercedes is one step behind Red Bull and Ferrari and therefore it is not as exciting as last year, but I am so deeply impressed by Max Verstappen. He’s a talent that comes along once in a 100 years.” [Translated from Google Translate]

He further added, “He’s just that good and I don’t see a single weakness in him. Normally every driver has a lesser point, but with Verstappen, I don’t see one. He’s like that cool, so relaxed and he can withstand the pressure better than anyone.”

Mercedes legend Lewis Hamilton has praised the current world champion, Max Verstappen. Verstappen, who has won 14 races out of the 20 so far, has pretty much been the best driver this year by a mile.

Speaking ahead of the Brazilian GP, Lewis said, “I can’t say that I’ve had time to study every aspect of what Max has done this year, but I think he’s done an amazing job.”

He further mentioned, “He’s done everything that he had to do. The team provided him with an amazing car and he’s delivered pretty much every weekend.”

Hamilton will be hope to challenge Max and Red Bull next season, after what’s been a terrible year for the Silver Arrows. Furthermore, Lewis will also be looking to beat Verstappen in front of his ‘home’ fans on Sunday.
